Trim your wick to about 1/4" before each burn. To extend the life of your candle extinguish the flame after 4 hours and trim the wick. This will ensure a long lasting candle, minimize soot and remove any mushrooming of carbon on the end of the wick.
Extinguish your candle by placing a lid on the candle or dipping the wick into the melted wax and straighten. This will stop the wick from smoking and will help with re-lighting.
Extreme temperature fluctuations can cause sweating. This is normal, wipe off the excess moisture, or burn you candle.
On the first burn allow the wax to melt all the way to the sides of the container. This should take 1-3 hours. Failure to do this will often cause tunneling which can limit the life of your candle.
If tunneling occurs set your oven to 175°F, and place candle in for about 5 minutes to allow the wax to level out. Remove any excess wax if needed.

SHIPPING POLICY
At Yassu Home we hand pack and ship our candles with the greatest of care to ensure that they arrive quickly and in perfect condition.
All orders will be shipped within 3-7 working days. We will send you a tracking number via email to notify you that your candles have been dispatched.
- 5 working days for UK Delivery, excluding bank / national holidays.
- 7-8 working days for European Delivery
- 10-15 days for Worldwide Delivery.
Shipping time are NOT guaranteed, and orders that arrive later than stated will not be refunded.
REFUNDS + EXCHANGES
We carefully inspect all products before they are shipped. Due to the nature of our products, used candles cannot be returned or refunded. However, we will replace or refund products damaged during shipment if photographic proof of damage is submitted to info@yassuhome.com within 7 days of delivery.
You may also exchange your product for another candle of the same size and price within 14 days of purchase.
The buyer is responsible for shipping cost on all return and shipping of exchanged items.
